How We Deliver Topsoil:

If you ordered a pallet or bulk bag online your order will arrive on an 18 tonne curtain sided lorry (if there are access issues, we can attempt to use a 7.5 tonner, but we will need to be notified prior to dispatching of order, i.e. when / before you place the order).

18 tonne vehicles are 3 Meters in width, 10 meters long & 4.5 meters tall.

We also deliver topsoil in bulk loads from 15 tonnes upwards - delivery in bulk loose loads in only available in 8 wheel tippers (upto 20 tonnes per load) or articulated wagons (upto 30 tonnes per load)

How Is Topsoil Delivered?

Delivering goods as heavy as Topsoil comes with its challenges. This being said, with over 10 years of experience we have chosen the best delivery networks to work with (at the cost of considerable profit).

95%+ of our deliveries are made using an 18 Tonne Curtain Sided vehicle, which are 3 meters in width, and 9 meters in length. 

We use a Tail Lift and Manual Pallet truck to offload and move the goods. The Driver will need a flat and hard-standing surface to lower to the tail lift flush with the ground and remove the goods off of the vehicle.

As these vehicles have curtain sides, no vegetation can brush up against the top or sides of these vehicles. If the driver fears this could be an issue, he is allowed to refuse to deliver.

Which Days Do You Deliver?

We deliver products on the day of your choice (between Monday to Friday), using our custom made Date Picker (seen at Checkout). The requested delivery date is confirmed on your 'Order Confirmation' e-mail, which is received the second your order is placed. 

Does the Price Include Delivery?

Yes - We deliver to the majority of postcodes in the UK with no additional delivery charge. Unfortunately some postcode areas carry a surcharge, e.g. London. This is due to the local depots charging a premium for their delivery services. Whilst we do our best to get you the most economical delivery methods, we have chosen to choose a better service over the cheapest. 

Do You Deliver Next Day?

We do!

This is a premium delivery service. The cost of this service is found easily, using our custom made Date Picker (seen at Checkout).

Can I choose a Delivery Time?

Yes and no.

Currently the delivery networks we use allow an AM Booking, which will guarantee your delivery before 1pm. This can be booked by speaking to one of our Customer Service Team (pre-delivery), simply Contact Us (or Click to Call: 01785850653). 

Do I need to be at home when the delivery is made?

Ideally, yes. 

We can, and often do, deliver your products when you're not at home. This being said, if there is an issue upon delivery, i.e. Access issues, a parked car, limited weight of a bridge, etc. it helps for us to the Driver to speak to someone on site (us too). This way the majority of problems can be sorted with a quick phone call, and saves you the cost of a re-delivery charge.
